Ready for a Change
Many of my friends are doing the engagement-marriage-baby dance and this is natural ,wonderful and good but I cannot relate. I think some of these friendships are not going to survive..I realise that my friends and I are just too diffferent.
I’ve been living in China for the past 2.5 years. Working here has it’s limitations…it’s not the best place for people seeking a creative and “out of the box” working experience. Chinese ppl are nice but the sameness of everyday life and the lack of organisation really are not my cup of tea.
I hope someone can suggest an ethnically and culturally diverse country to visit and or work in. I am American so America is off the table until I’m ready to return home.
All in all I’m hoping to meet/encounter a greater diversity of ethnic groups, opinions and lifestyles.
Save the Politics for Your Personal Tumblr
PPl on Tumblr have varied interests.I love archtitecture and fashion and I choose blogs DEDICATED to those topics. So imagine my surprise when I find messages disparaging Israelis on a street style blog of all places! You are entitiled to your own racism/ignorant beliefs.I came for the fashion and buildings…now this Jew is gonna drop you like a bad habit. Bye!
Figure Skating and it’s Judges are a Joke.
Putin most certainly used his 51 billion dollar Olympic budget to fix the Ladies Figure Skating competition in Sochi. The gold medal went to a young girl who fell in her program and demonstrated little to no artistry as compared to Yuna Kim, Karolina Kostner and the Americans. There was no justification for a 6 point gap between first and 2nd place. My heart aches for the athletes who deserved to win, medal and or place higher than they did. Figure Skating judges are common cheaters and they are helping to alienate fans„,even loyal ones like me. The fanbase is dwindling in North America and Europe…promoters can barely fill seats at venues. So cheaters keep doing what you are doing because the world is starting to see Figure Skating as a ridiculous side show act…and perhaps talented young ppl will be disuaded from entering a corrupt and expensive sport. Reform is needed NOW!
The person I reblogged this from has a blog worth following.
Dose of Reality!
No amount of exercise is going to transform you into a Gisele or an Adriana Lima or even a Jennifer Lawrence. Their body types are largely genetic and exercise just preserves and enhances what they already have! Focus on being a being a better YOU!
I hate when someone tries to have a conversation about discrimination against women or fat ppl and the men and thin girls whine and make it all about them. These groups should acknowledge their priviledge and perhaps learn something from ppl who don’t have it as easy as they do!
It’s nice to see photos of ppl with regular bodies doing yoga. I’m not inspired by images of 5’10 lean and lithe women. That’s not me and it’s an unrealistic standard for 98% of the population.
